Graduated of the “Ion Mincu” Institute of Architecture and Spatial Planning, specialized in urban and territorial planning and regional development with a PhD in Human Geography . Work experience, of over 30 years, including more than 60 major projects, studies and researches in the field, at various territorial levels, from local to national and international, and in cross-border areas as well, elaboration of development strategies at local and regional levels. Teaching activities since 1993, mainly at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism but in other universities in Romania and abroad too. Author or co-author of over 140 papers, brochures, chapters or books in the field of spatial planning and connected areas. Presently, Head of Department of Urban Planning and Territorial Development at the Faculty of Urban Planning of UAUIM.
